New Horizons Church of the Nazarene is a congregation rooted in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition and part of the global Church of the Nazarene. Our beliefs are grounded in Scripture, informed by the wisdom of the Christian tradition, and shaped through thoughtful theological reflection. We seek to know God more deeply, love our neighbors more fully, and follow Jesus more faithfully as we worship, serve, and grow together as Spirit-led people.
Through the Kansas City District, we partner with other Churches of the Nazarene in worship, mission, and service, while joining a worldwide family of believers seeking to make Christlike disciples in the nations.
While every local congregation has its own unique story, we share a common confession of faith with Nazarenes around the world. Together, we believe in the transforming grace of God, the hope found in Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, and God’s desire to make us holy in love.
